He owns a typewriter and collects Laserdiscs. He loves his three children quite a bit (aged 12, 17 and 19). He is passionate about authentic learning, technology with purpose, and creating at least one new thing every day. In short, he teaches, and learns. A lot.
This actually happens pretty often when I’m trying something new, so I practice with the class from the first of the year what they are allowed to do and what they aren’t, while I’m figuring out a tech issue. The plus side is I get to model what it’s like to persevere when learning something new; the downside is….it stinks.
