How do we make our Communities more “Lurker Friendly”?

  1.  I have to admit, I am often a “lurker” which is probably why I love Pinterest … I don’t have to actually contribute anything, but my ole enchilada casserole was delicious last night.

What if everyone is a “lurker” does it become a glorified super-uber blog? If the community is small I think that this is often where the community rests, with only one or two people posting. I wonder if those posters asked for examples of success or questions in comments if that would “push’ the “lurker” among us to participate.
