    “A Chief Innovation Officer” would be even better than CTO.

    Was anyone talking about using tech to study great plays? I’m concerned that “future” doesn’t simply revolve around new tech and coding. We need to find exciting, relevant ways to teach hearts and minds — great dramatic literature from the past needs to be included. The arts teach us what it is to be human.

I’m concerned that the grownups are swinging that pendulum again — all the way to STEM, coding, comp sci, with blatant disregard for the arts needing to be in every classroom. I wondered if anyone was talking about an arts program that has been brought to scale via technology.

  9. I don’t see them as diametrically opposed. The act of design is an incredibly powerful and useful art. Many folks are (and will be) talking about coding is a creative art. I believe there is enough room for art and science in becoming #futureready.
