Welcome Everyone!

Welcome Everyone!

Welcome Everyone!

If you haven’t submitted a proposal, go ahead and do so right now.

However, if you have already submitted your proposal, finish the process by posting the link to it within this community. Based upon the feedback within your proposal (comments, questions, etc.) and the number of +1’s and reshares your proposal receives within this community, you will be chosen to be a part of Project Cam Opener for the 2014-2015 school year.

I’m looking forward to learning a lot from each of you.

  1. Ben, I have a silly question for you. How do we go about voting for other proposals? Do we just vote for our category i.e., elementary, middle, and high school? Or do we vote for what we’re interested in? How will the participants be selected – on votes? Can others who are not proposing vote? Thanks, Theresa

  5. This is not a silly question.

You vote with your +1’s and comments. The proposals with more of them will be more likely to receive all of the items they have requested.

You can invite others to participate in the conversation (and the community), but other project cam opener participants will have their votes weighted more heavily.

The proposals will also be looked at by school and district leaders in the next round, but we are keeping it to fellow teachers in this one.

Let me know if you have more questions.

  9. June is for fellow teachers to post comments and +1 proposals. July is for school and district leaders to do the same. I wouldn’t worry too much about not getting votes, but you can share your proposal outside of this group if you like or you can simply comment on other proposals to engage folks in looking at yours too.

The idea is to form community with one another. If everyone’s proposal is great, then everyone will receive their toolkit.
