So, I’m thinking about the unconference day, and I’m wondering if we (the cohort) are responsible for planning/choosing topics. If so, I wonder if we might want to start brainstorming some ideas and throw together a form to think about what expertise is in the room and what needs for learning we may have (and matching the two, hopefully). What do you all think?

(And if someone from the GTA planning folks can give some guidance, I think that would be good too.)

  1. Yeah treat it more like an EdCamp and let the process happen organically. I’m sure you’re brain will be buzzing the night after our first day. Plus you don’t know which people you will gel with right away- regarding specific passions.

  5. I’m a huge fan of letting “the moment” dictate our sessions, but for EdCamps in Colorado, we have tried to gauge interest and expertise prior in order to capitalize on the momentum and energy of the community. I’ll think more about how to make this more open ended and not prescriptive.
