I think that this community could learn a lot from the DS106 folks and their Daily Create projects. I highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t already.

DS106 sounds more like the creative vlogging community I’ve been a part of for many years. We had daily challenges and mashed up one another’s creations, and even created our own series, like game shows and parodies. They’re still at it with music months and award shows (mind you, this is on a relatively small community scale). But I love that this is education-based. I’m going through that site right now- it’s mind-blowing and the possibilities are endless!
