So, I have this idea. I need some help, though.

I would like to create (or find, if it already exists) a site that would allow for me (and others) to create content pages (with links, files, and perhaps even elearning modules) and then allow others who visit the site to select items that have been created and add them to a “shopping cart”.

Then I would like to allow people to “check out” of the site, and in doing so, reorder their items so as to create a learning path through all of the items they have selected.

The last step would be to save or download this learning path as the “check out” button. Ideally, they could save their learning paths to a profile for later use (i.e., going through the path where they could check items off as they went).

Does such a thing exist? Where should I be spending my time in creating it? Thanks to anyone who passes the idea on to someone else as well.

  1. I suppose that would work too. The issue I have with diigo is that it always seems so separate from the content itself. I would like a space of curated content that I can then choose from (or others can choose from). Does that make sense?

  4. Not that I know of, but that sounds really interesting. At first I was thinking almost like an Evernote-style experience with different notebooks as you could email pages/notes to the different notebooks. It seems like it should be an upgraded feature of Read It Later… Let me re-post and see if we get any buzz…
