Roundtable Purpose:
This roundtable is meant to help support teachers and leaders going back into their schools with a passionate approach to learning. It is meant to share best practices for the new school year and uncover collaboration points between teachers and schools.
Roundtable Audience:
This is for any teacher or leader going back to school after summer break (or that has continued to work and create throughout the summer). This is an opportunity for all of us to share the things we are most excited about in this school year, and to start thinking through where we hope to be by the end of the year.

Verifying Teachers in Google Classroom
As the Google Apps admin for your school, you’ll need to decide how teachers are given permission to create and manage classes in Classroom. When users first sign in to Classroom, they are asked to identify themselves as a teacher or a student. Everyone who identifies as a teacher is added to a Google Group, pending your review.
You have three choices as to who is allowed to create a class: anyone in your domain, all pending and verified teachers, or verified teachers only.
To set this permission you’ll need to enable Google Groups for Business and follow these steps.
You can also directly add teachers from your domain to the teacher group before they begin using Classroom. To learn more, visit the Help Center: http://goo.gl/CbjuZQ

A number of folks have been asking me for a list of other participants in Project Cam Opener.
A number of folks have been asking me for a list of other participants in Project Cam Opener. So, I made this map, as I wanted to give you something to play with before we start our work together at the Open House. I was able to make it so that even folks at the same school show up on this map.

I hope that many of you write a nomination for these awards. I really like their scope.

I think this is a really cool opportunity to nominate someone you learn from and with in your network.
I think this is a really cool opportunity to nominate someone you learn from and with in your network. I can think of more than a few folks in this community alone!
