This change list takes a look at an idea from the very first k12 online conference that talks about ways for educators to “be the box”. I am interested in tweaking this to “be the story.”

Sometimes the raw materials are the things I get excited about in an environment. Those materials are often visual in nature.
Google just added 5000+ stock images to their Docs and Presentations insert image menus. I like the idea of not having to leave the tools to create a new piece of learning (or demonstrate your learning, for that fact).

Perhaps this isn’t the kinds of things you have in mind, but I did want to share this in case you haven’t seen it.
OpenDrive allows you to publicly share things from your Google Drive, Dropbox, Skydrive, and Box. Then it aggregates all of those shared objects into a searchable database. Go ahead and search for something like “blended learning” and you will a bunch of really interesting things.
This post has gotten me thinking differently about just how blended an environment needs to be in order to create a connected place for learners to take part. Read and respond if it strikes your fancy.
So, I thought maybe this would be a good community to start on the first day these are available.
