For those of you that are still awake, here is my vlog about managing your digital learning life.
We Need Digest Learning Instead Of Notification Learning
This one is in response to Kevin Honeycutt’s vlog that challenged me to consider how learners should manage a digital life. My theory goes like this: We should stop aggregating and start curating, stop notifying and start digesting.
The tools I discuss are:

I don’t have youtube channels yet for these folks: Enzo Andres Gazzaniga, Jennifer Radosevich, jeremy collins, Keith Stendebach, or Matthew Woolums
Even if you don’t have a single video posted on Youtube, it would be great to get the community all in the same place so that we can subscribe to one another and be updated when we comment on one another’s videos in addition to posting reactions. So, put your link in the comments.

Also, it is about the difference between an expert and engaged expertise.
Learning Doesn’t Come From Experts, It Comes From Engaged Expertise
I had a conversation with one of my favorite people today, Kevin Honeycutt. And he challenged me on the nature of expertise. To which I am responding in this video that I outline engagement as the missing piece of an expert’s toolkit.

Hey, I saw you were recommended in a circle for experienced Business Consultants, so I thought I would reach out.
Hey, I saw you were recommended in a circle for experienced Business Consultants, so I thought I would reach out.
The company I work for, Two Red Chairs, is a small business (http://curatedinsight.com) with a passionate group of people on a fact finding mission to better understand the challenges that independent consultants and coaches are facing in today’s market.
Our goal is to speak with 100 consultants in January as part of our research. Our sole goal is to dig deeper into your area of expertise and the current challenges that you face. It’s a one-on-one focus group. That’s it, no selling, no advertising, just a quick conversation to learn from others in the consulting space.
Would you be willing to share your experiences with us? We sure would appreciate your insight and promise to keep it short and never sell or share your information. Since these focus group sessions are one-on-one conversations and only 15 minutes we can work around any time slot you may have.
Thanks so much for your time.
