I thought some of you might want to use this in some of your sessions on Hangouts. Here is a Google Doc with Animated gifs that walks you through many of the steps of setting up and sharing a hangout/HOA.

#WhyTeach: High Schoolers Who Want to Teach (A Twitter experiment in #dpsk12) via @jdarnelldps
This is possibly the best uses of twitter with a group of students I have seen in a very long time. Special kudos to Justin Darnell. What an amazing example of engaging students where they live (their mobile devices and on social media).
#WhyTeach – High Schoolers Who Want to Teach (with images, tweets) · jdarnelldps · Storify
#WhyTeach – High Schoolers Who Want to Teach Over 100 High School students gathered at the Future Teacher Expo hosted @CUDenver. We tried to capture our thinking, and begin uncovering our “why.” An early attempt for presenter @jdarnelldps Next time will better represent the full conversation. Thanks to all who shared below!

Shifting Practice: Outcome-Based Badges Roundtable
*Planning Doc:* http://bit.ly/shiftroundtable
This is going to be an amazing roundtable on how we are _Actually Shifting Practice_ using badges for Professional Learning. This is a follow up to our previous roundtable on Badges for Learning (http://bit.ly/badgesroundtable).
*Roundtable purpose:*
This roundtable will help to identify the ways in which we can use Outcome-based Badges (rather than badging for seat-time) to shift practice for teachers and leaders.
*Roundtable audience:*
Teachers and Leaders who are looking to create and/or use a badging system within professional learning environments
Organizations who are looking to help teachers and leaders to create micro-credentials for professional learning
*Essential Questions:*
How do we eliminate badges for seat-time?
What are the tools to implement badges for professional learning?
What are the models for professional learning that are best supported by badges?
What does the "back of the badge" look like for adult learners?
How does self-reflection become a part of a badging system?
