He is married to his favorite person, and loves his three children quite a little bit (aged 10, 15 and 17). He is passionate about authentic learning, technology with purpose, and creating at least one new thing every day. In short, he teaches, and learns. A lot.
Ok, dumb question…how are you going to use G+ to replace Reader? Can you subscribe to RSS feeds and have them show in your stream?? Are you creating a circle your blog feeds?
I have definitely been using Twitter (and more recently) Google+ to take over my reading time, but I would like to be able to have a place to go to read really interesting things until sparks actually work the way that I want them to for discovery.
Normally in Feedly I read an article then mark as read takes me to next article on my list, with yours it stops and normal mark as read stays on ‘you may also like (whatever the words are ) and I have to go back to get to my reading list
Well, even though it doesn’t exist and was merely a typo, I wonder what it would be like to have your Google Reader come directly into your clipboard so that any time you wanted to read the next thing in your reader you just pasted into a new browser tab. Anyone know of anything like a stumble upon-like extension pulls from your Google Reader, Twitter, or Google+ like that? That would be really interesting for serendipity and sharing.
I enjoy Connected Principals and EdWeek LeaderTalk

http://bionicteaching.com is worth paying attention to IMO. Tom’s a smart dude.

There’s a wide variety of voices over at the Cooperative Catalyst group blog: http://coopcatalyst.wordpress.com
Done. Done and Done.
http://EdReach.us is great as well.
Wow. You’re a braver man than me.
I hope you backed up the OPML file! I use Feedly as a magazine-like front-end to Google Reader. It rocks. 🙂
Also use Feedly, superb, though ironically your feed always breaks it Doug
Me too. I do think it is funny that they still recommend reader when you get your gmail down to inbox 0.
Thanks foro the suggestions. I’m having fun seeing what starting over looks like. In G+ and in Reader.
+Roger Neilson Really? In what way? ;-/

My feeds go through Google Reader and clipboard reads that
Flipboard on IPad, Feedly on desktop
Roger Neilson What do you mean that your clipboard reads from Google Reader? That sounds interesting.
Its a typo, Flipboard reads from Google Reader is what it should have said.
