Although Sheri Edwards hasn’t posted it here, she is a member of this community and I thought this poem and video were beautifully reflective:
Each of us: A Hub
Worlds within worlds
Family
Professional
Local –> Global
Each of us: A Hub
Reaching out
Gathering in
Making sense
Self –> Worlds
Each of us: A Hub
Spiraling
Connecting
Interacting
Worlds –> Worlds
Each and Together: Hubs
Communicating
Considering
Contributing
Remix –> Create
Each and Together: Hubs
Purpose and Action
Fluid Reactions
Worlds
Learning –> Change
Each and Together: Hubs
Linger here
Stay there
Learn and Act
Worlds –> Renewed

We are leading each other. I’m just obsessed about getting the conversation started. My hope is that the passion rubs off on a great many people this year.

From the looks of Google Plus, Twitter, and all the blog posts, I think the passion is growing!

I would agree. I am starting to think about how we could do a MOOC that is only responded to via video blogs. What do you think about that idea? My guess is that I wouldn’t attempt it until the summer (when most teachers are off), but I think it could be pretty awesome.
