Working with teachers for a 7th grade middle school social studies. We are stuck on getting some more “meat” into project. We are working with Middle Ages and trying to develop a project around students creating a shield and connecting it to themselves and content. We don’t want a fluffy project that is just cute. Kids are excited about the shield, but we need to bring in more content and higher order thinking.
Any thoughts?
