What would you call a job that does these things:
– Creating and supporting the vision, frameworks, strategies, and tools for knowledge and information sharing across schools and within district departments.
– Providing vision, framework, strategies, and tools for Personalized Professional Development
– Creating, supporting and managing the online communities of practice to support professional development and classroom learning.
– Connecting all Professional Development resources used within the district into a single centralized repository
– Creating, leveraging, and managing all social learning networks including the use of social media and online platforms to drive personalized learning experiences for adults
– Creating and Defining “Digital Learning Experiences” that within all classrooms to support PARCC readiness and Common Core tasks
If the last point could be redefined, it would be a darn fine job description. Reducing “Digital Learning Experiences” to things that support PARCC readiness is unnecessarily limiting.

Fair enough. I’ll probably change that one. Bill Fitzgerald, what would you call that job?

It sounds a lot like what professional development support should be.
