He is married to his favorite person, and loves his three children quite a little bit (aged 8, 13 and 15). He is passionate about authentic learning, technology with purpose, and creating at least one new thing every day. In short, he teaches, and learns. A lot.

Interesting video, for sure. Lots that I agree with, but at the same time many ideas assumed highly motivated, independent students. I can’t say those are generally applicable descriptors of the vast majority of students, but at the same time, that might the a result of the education system as much as anything else. Educational reform, might (should) also increase motivation and engagement and make possible many of the suggestions presented here.
