I made a quick video about the discussion in the previous post. Thought that made the most sense, since it was about finding other EdTech folks who create reflective practice videos: Change List: Where Are The Reflective Practice Vloggers?

Hey Ben, I think I better understand what you were looking for last night now – thanks. What I do not understand is why you want it to be asynchronous? Why not a synchronous discussion/conversation?
Mostly because synchronous is too hard. The reason why most conversations pass us by is because they require us to “show up”. If we can show up when we want (or when we are able), there is a better chance for a broader conversation.
Hmmm, okay. It seems to me that it is even easier than ever to show up and have these conversations. But that could well be just me 🙂
Easier for all that can participate. However, the reason I can’t attend most EdReach events is that I have two small children. Call and Response of video would work much better for my family, but I definitely see where you are coming from.
I also would love to participate in more discussions but because I have little time to schedule in meetings…it leaves me out of many discussions. This is why I am looking for more things like podcasts and creating video.
Just responded to your comment on Youtube. Let’s get something together!

Syd DiChiara This is so amazing. You have opened up a conversation here and your thoughtfulness is exactly the kind of thing I want to be a part of. I am talking with a few other folks about starting the kind of call and response that you are calling for. Thank you! I’ll be responding via video as well, but I wanted everyone following this thread as well.
I just did a video response to your video, but I think your video is unlisted rather than public, so I can’t attach it to your video officially. Anyway, here is the link: Change List: The Cult Of Done
Okay, I changed the settings on the video to public so you can add your vid. Hopefully it’ll help if others want to jump in. Will go check your vid out…

I posted a blog with the four videos in it and a wee bit of commentary.
