I’m curious to hear from other folks, how do you go about engaging kids in the classroom both online and offline?
He owns a typewriter and collects Laserdiscs. He loves his three children quite a bit (aged 11, 16 and 18). He is passionate about authentic learning, technology with purpose, and creating at least one new thing every day. In short, he teaches, and learns. A lot.
Elisa Cohen, those a great suggestions! You have really gotten concrete and specific in your expectations and I think that helps kids to know exactly what skills to use for a given situation.
I moved my classroom around as well and now I have a “loop around the horseshoe” so that I can quickly see what all students are doing on their iPads when I’m on the outside and then they face inside for Socratic convos. Placement is so key :0 great Idea Elisa !
