How are you allowing people to register for PD in your district? How do we make a course catalogue more collaborative?

    Could this question be restated differently? What is the real concern? Is it how educators register for a PD that is the concern or are PD offerings meeting the wants of the educators? Do educators want to congregate to learn or should all learning be accessible online? Could educators earn badges through existing material online and given credit and tracked using other methods? Could the course catalogue be links to suggested material or likes (collaborative) by other educators? How do you make learning at this level desirable and social? How should a PD be designed for the 21st Century learner/educator/worker/adult?

    The question that is being asked right now is around how we make requesting and registering for sessions easier for teachers and leaders. We are making it overly hard to do this.

    Okay, when I register I want the title to describe the content and who the content is for. If we were to categorize the catalog of choices, such as by grade-level or all educators, entry-level to advanced, and online or offline or mixed. Another nice feature would be a link to the syllabus. 

    Not sure where you were going with the collaboration piece of your first query, did you mean a way to group registration?

    If you could filter by those thing to search for the PD you want with a title and description at your ready in the results would that meet your needs, or do you really want the title to say it all? Curious minds want to know what educators want. 🙂
