Career

Education Leadership

I started in a middle school English classroom. Since then I have led blended learning for two districts, run a VR/AR program for a dental school, and now run admissions operations for a university. Every one of those jobs has been about helping people learn.

Native Apps, Built End to End

I design, build, and ship native apps by myself, from the first sketch to store review. Each one is a single shared core with a native shell for every screen it lives on. I want the same app on a phone, a TV, and a desktop, with no server behind it that I have to pay for.

From “The Ripe Environment” (2007), which this whole blog grew out of. I was tired of talking about tools even then. I wanted to talk about the conditions that make people want to learn.

Building Native Apps

Four apps, each one designed and shipped by me: Archive Watch, a cinematheque for the public domain; Tidbits Trivia, Wikipedia as fact-checked trivia; Bsky Dreams, a Bluesky client built for connection; and Boba Playbook, a card-game companion. A volunteer-built storytelling toolkit at yeson4a.org. It helps supporters tell their own true story about Littleton Public Schools and get it in front of the neighbors who can vote, ahead of the November 2026 mill levy override. More projects →
