Career Timeline
Two decades of working at the intersection of education and technology, always with the goal of making learning more human.
Independent App Developer
Design, build, and ship native apps end-to-end as a one-person studio — four apps for phones, TVs, desktops, and the web, each from one shared core. Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose, C#/Avalonia, BrightScript, and vanilla web; no servers, no paid tiers; store submissions and content pipelines that run on GitHub Actions. Distilled the method into an open-source, Claude Code–aware app template. See the apps →
Associate Director of Admissions Operations
Lead global admissions operations for a department processing 25,000+ applications a year, managing a distributed team of 50+ across 7 international hubs. Built the custom data dashboards, AI-augmented evaluation tooling, and operations playbooks the team runs on — including context repositories and evaluation patterns for using Claude and Gemini in admissions workflows. Facilitate synchronous training in an Active Learning Platform and design rituals that scale across time zones.
Program Manager, Digital Education & Academic Technology
Academic technology lead for the School of Dental Medicine. Designed teaching environments around emerging modalities — VR/XR and haptics — and provided strategic leadership on instructional design, digital media, and emerging technology adoption in health sciences education.
Director of Blended & Personalized Learning
Led blended and personalized learning across two large urban districts, supporting 8,000+ teachers through coaching teams. Rolled out 1:1 iPad and Chromebook programs, built standards-based instructional data systems, and designed a district-wide digital micro-credentialing program for technology competencies.
Vice President, Board of Directors
Led professional learning operations for InnEdCO, Colorado's largest EdTech educator conference (~1,000 educators annually). Built the Google Workspace databases and app integrations supporting 200+ concurrent sessions, livestreams, and the conference's social engagement layer.
