Any thoughts?

So, I was trying to find a directory of EdTech folks who vlog today, and I couldn’t find one.

I would really love to subscribe to a whole bunch of folks who do reflective learning videos on a regular basis and have conversations through video with them.

Does anyone know if such a directory exists (or at the very least, a decent Youtube playlist with someone’s favorites).

Short of finding a directory like this, I’m totally okay with you just replying to this post with your youtube channel and I can check it out. Thanks for any help you can provide!

  1. I know that a lot of people are actively doing it, but I don’t know a lot of them in Schools or in other learning institutions. Didn’t know Brent, but I will definitely be checking him out. The closest thing that I am seeing is on Vyou, but most of those video responses are too short to really be reflective.

  4. Ben, although I’m a blogging teacher, I’ve vlogged as a hobby since 2006.  It’s lead me toward collaborating with creative folks on an international level.  I’ve actually been thinking about vlogging as a teacher so if you do find folks who are doing that, let me know.

  7. Yeah. There is definitely a need for a supportive community of folks, like there is for text blogging. I just think video is too flexible of a medium to not have people gathering around it for purposes other than “flipping”.
